Programme should be performed without repetitions.
All compositions should be works originally written for solo harp.
The whole programme is to be performed by heart.

1.Polyphonic composition written before 1800.
2.J. Haydn or W.A. Mozart – first movement from a sonata for piano.
3. An original composition of free choice.
NOTES:
1.For categories I and II the cyclic form can be replaced with:
a) Variation forms;
b) A selection of movements of a larger cyclic work (at least three contrast
movements);
c) Several pieces of different character by the same author.
2.For III category the cyclic form can be replaced with:
a) Variation forms;
b) A selection of movements of a larger cyclic work.
3.One of the compositions should be originaly written for accordion (cyclic
or composition by free choice).
4.The candidates are obliged to submit two photocopies of their programme before
their performance.
THE RULES OF THE COMPETITION
1.
The competiton is open for young musicians from all over the world.
2. Competition is organized in Belgrade, from May 4 to May 10, 2009. for following
disciplines: violin, viola, violoncello, contrabass, accordion and harp.
3.Candidates who are in family relationship with some of the jury member or
in current professional contact of any kind (during the period of two years
before the competition) can not take a part on the competition.
4. Dead-line for the submission of the applications is March 1, 2009 (the date
on the postal stamp).
5. Candidates are obliged to submit the following documents:
a. the application form filled in with printed letters, with the names of the
compositions and the names of composers written in original form (marking how
long each of the respective piece lasts);
b. The photocopy of the birth certificate or the photocopy of the page from
the passport with the main personal details.
c. Short artistic biography with names of pedagogues (from year 2007 to 2009).
d. The photocopy of the receipt of the payment of participation.

9. If taking part in the competition is cancelled, money for the participation
is not returned.
10. The competitors pay their travel and residence expenses by themselves.
11.The competitors pay professional accompanists by themselves.
12.The professional accompanist are available for the applicants. The cost of
the rehersal is 30 euros per hour and 40 euros for the stage apperiance (all
in dinar equivalent value).
Applicants who choose this option should send the photocopy of the piano notes
of some of the compositions from their competition programme together with their
application form.
13.Complete sheadule of the Competition will be represented on the Competition’s
web-site, 15 days before formal opening.
14.The order of the performances for all the competitors will be made in alphabetical
order according to the initial letter of the surname of the applicant and this
principle will be valid during the whole competition. The Organisation Board
has chosen letter “S” for the Competition in 2009.
15.If less than 5 candidates apply for any category at the competition, the
competition for that category will not be held. The organiser will inform the
applicants about it and will return the paid participation no later than March
31, 2009.
16.The competition jury will be consisted of odd numer of members (at least
3, maximum 5). In process of giving marks, the additional member, deputy, will
replace the members of the jury whose interests clash with some of the competitors
(family relationship or current professional contact of any kind during the
period of two years before the competition).
17.Three prizes (I,II and III) and not more than three diplomas could be awarded
for each category. The prizes are not divided. The jury has the right not to
award some prizes or diplomas.
18.Prizes will be a certain amaunt of money. Competition prize fond will be
anaunced on the web site of the competition 20 days before Competition.
19.The winners of the competition will have the performances organised at the
concdrt in our country and abroad.
20.The competition is public.
21.By taking part in the competition, the competitors automatically renounce
their right for the material compensation regarding possible radio and TV recordings,
production of audio and video materials and their distribution.
22.The decisions of the jury are unalterable.
23.In case of dispute, the only valid text of the rules is in Serbian language.
